ASDS-2 for Passenger Cars

The ASDS-2 for passenger cars is the ideal, compact solution for SCR reductant systems on mid-size cars and SUV’s. The main unit is replaceable. The small start-up unit ensures short time-to-dose even at temperatures well below 0° C. The main unit is heated by a small bypass flow (~2 liter/min) of the warm engine coolant Capacity ~4 kg NH3 Flow range: 0 – 4,6 g NH3 pr. minute NEDC Average Power Consumption: 25 W Time to dose at -27 °C: 240 sec. The ASDS-2 can be tailored to fit the target vehicle and presumed driving patterns optimally. The system supplies ultra pure ammonia gas, and has a capacity corresponding to the total demand during a service interval. In other words: The end-user will not have to do any refilling. The main cartridge will be replaced when the car is serviced. The start-up unit is a permanent part of the car, and is recharged during driving. This type of system has been vehicle tested and can be supplied as a standalone system for engine test bench or on-road testing.
