Prototype Systems

We have been developing our Ammonia Storage and Delivery System, ASDS, to fit the needs of the automotive industry. So far we have three prototype concepts: Two for passenger cars and one system for trucks. As you can read in the technology section, we supply heat to our system to carry out teh controlled release of ammonia from the storage cartridge. This heat can be generated by an electrical heating element or by using a by-pass loop of the engine coolant curcuit (waste heat). Choice of heating method, combined with requirements for capacity and flow range, defines the system. The three system versions are: ASDS-1 for Passenger Cars; electrically heated ASDS-2 for Passenger Cars; heated by engine coolant ASDS-2 for Commecial Vehicles; heated by engine coolant Amminex is offering prototype systems for test purposes on dynos or in vehicles.
