Zero-carbon hydrogen generated from ammonia is the solution for providing fuel cell-powered backup for base transceiver stations (BTS) in order to replace batteries or noisy and polluting diesel generators. For cases where safety issues regarding storage of liquid ammonia is a concern (e.g. when the BTS installation is located on a rooftop), Amminex provides a solid ammonia-based energy storage solution. Liquid ammonia-based energy storage is the preferable solution when the BTS installation is located in a remote place where ammonia safety is not a concern.
