Increased enviromental awareness and legislation has been a driving force in making the car manufacturers of the world strive to improve their combustion technology. Although many great improvements have been made, these will not be enough to satisfy the demands of the emmision standards that are being implemented in the EU, the US and Japan. Amminex offers an elegant and competitive solution to one of the major problems: NOx. Amminex is developing an easy-to-handle, safe, cheap and compact ammonia storage and dosing system, for use in an SCR De-NOx solution for the next generation of diesel cars and trucks. By equipping these vehicles with such a system, NOx levels can be reduced to well below the forthcoming requirements for diesel engine emmision.
